This specific tab is a key component of the updated IAF uniform system.

Design & Aesthetics: The name plate features a distinct digital camouflage background. Unlike terrestrial patterns (greens and browns), this IAF pattern uses a sophisticated palette of urban grays, charcoal, and white. The pixelated blocks are randomly arranged to break up outlines and provide concealment across a wider variety of environments, particularly suited for airbase and modern operational settings. The entire rectangle is finished with a durable, tight-stitched black embroidered border.

Embroidery & Text: The service member’s name and optional rank (in this example, “NARESH KUMAR”) are rendered in bold, uppercase, block-style black embroidery.
